With over 10 years of mortgage banking experience, William Welge had seen the mortgage transaction process become more efficient through technological advances. In the underwriting process, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and other secondary market conduits are utilizing automated underwriting programs, enabling lenders to approve mortgage applicants in minutes. All of these advances leave one piece of the process to be modernized, the expeditious delivery of title reports.
RDC the Realty Data Corp was incorporated in 1997 with the objective of automating this process. This patent pending system was developed and tested for three years before its initial launch in December 2000. Since that time, the RDC system has been updated and new products have been developed, providing customers with the tools required to more effectively compete in the mortgage banking sector.

As a key member of their executive team, the CTO will be fully responsible for all aspects of Technology including the formulation and implementation of a technology strategy to achieve the Company’s overall vision and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within the title insurance, banking or financial services industries, understanding the requirements and technologies commonly used in these fields.
The individual will be required to provide visionary leadership, engineering mentoring, strategic planning as well as representation of the Company before technology partners and the industry community. RDC is always offering new innovative products. At present they are in over 600 counties across the nation with some of their databases going back to 1966.
