Lakeland Title Services, inc. was founded on December 1st, 1966 by Arnold L. Vogel. He had the drive and vision to start a title company that focused on customer service.
In its humble beginnings, Lakeland was started with a small office in Port Washington with only 2 employees. Through hard work and paying attention to details, Lakeland’s reputation as a first rate title company steadily grew. In 1974, Lakeland Title expanded its operations to include an office in West Bend.
The title insurance is a type of insurance that protects the financial interest in property of a lender or owner. In the United States this type of insurance is very common and many companies are specialized in offering a good service to protect their clients. By doing this, the companies are more efficient at the moment of detecting, preventing and removing risks and losses attributable to title problems. Lakeland Title Services, Inc. is still owned and operated by the Vogel family, and Mr. Vogel’s initial vision of a company that focuses on service and quality is still at the heart of its operations. Today Lakeland Title Services, Inc. has a staff of 30 Associates and offers Title Insurance, Escrow, Construction Disbursement and Closing Services, as well as 1031 Exchange Services for properties located in Dodge, Fond du Lac, Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Washington and Waukesha Counties.
Although it is a product considerably different from other kinds of insurance coverage, the title insurance can be very effective for avoiding losses and claims in real estate transactions.
