California Counties Title Company was incorporated May 1, 1973 by its owner and President, Joseph D. Gottwald. Originally located in Los Angeles, the offices of the firm moved to Pasadena shortly after the company's founding. After assembling an integrated team of Title Officers, Customer Services Representatives and Sales and Marketing experts, they saw an opportunity to better serve its growing customer base by expanding south into Orange County.
In 1976 their company branch in Santa Ana was opened to serve Orange County. Headed by James E. Gottwald, President, Jim followed in his father's footsteps and repeated the success of the first LA County location. The corporate headquarters was moved to Orange County in 1998 and a year later California Counties Title Company purchased a beautiful new building in Irvine.
They currently maintain escrow offices in both Orange and Los Angeles counties and affiliate with many companies to provide the best service possible to all areas for title and escrow needs. They are supported by the underwriting strength of Chicago Title Insurance Company and Stewart Title Guaranty Company.
