Title Resources Guaranty Co. was conceived in 1983 and chartered in Texas in March, 1984. The original investors were people who owned interests in title agencies in the Dallas area William Kramer, the Trammell Crow group and Lyda Bunker Hunt Allred and Metropolitan Savings and Loan.
In 1985 and 1986, they expanded their independent agency network in Texas and began preliminary work to expand into Arizona and New Mexico. LeRoy Schneider purchased the firm’s shares owned by Metropolitan and became their first Arizona agent in late 1986. At that point, their largest volume agents were William Kramer and LeRoy Schneider.
From 1987 to present, they have continued to expand their agency network. In 1992 Kramer sold his shares in the firm to the other shareholders. In March 1998, the company purchased the shares owned by Lydia Bunker Hunt Allred as treasury shares.
Title Resources Guaranty Company is a title insurer rather than a title insurance agent. They do business exclusively through independent title insurance agents and have no direct retail operations. Their products are policies of title insurance issued by their independent agents with their underwriting assistance whenever needed.
Their primary customers are their agents, and they provide them with the services and support necessary to issue their policies in a competitive and professional manner. In reality, service is their product. They presently do business in Arizona, Colorado, and Texas.
Their mission is to provide their customers with the best title insurance service for the least amount of cost by maintaining quality, integrity and financial stability; to strengthen Company and employee relations and build lifetime loyalties resulting in long-term profitability.
