United National Group of insurance companies, formed in 1960, are member companies of United America Indemnity, Ltd. They believe that their specialty insurance product focus and niche market strategy enables us to outperform the property and casualty industry as a whole.
They compete in the specialty insurance market principally through their two primary business units like brokerage and binding authority. Each unit can offer excess and surplus lines and specialty admitted paper for their four general classes of insurance products like class specific professional liability, class specific programs, umbrella and excess, and property and general liability.
Their binding authority products are primarily marketed through 76 appointed general agencies that can be accessed by retail agents and wholesale brokers. Their brokerage products are available through their in house brokerage units that can be accessed by appointed wholesale brokers.
