The Security Association proved successful and was joined by a property and casualty company National Farmers Union Automobile and Casualty Company and was established by National Farmers Union in 1945. Both the life and casualty companies changed their names in 1950 to National Farmers Union Life Insurance Company and National Farmers Union Property and Casualty Company, respectively. Later in 1968, to be exact, a third company providing non preferred auto coverage’s National Farmers Union Standard Insurance Company joined the fold.
