The Company originated in 1987 as Associated Industries of Florida Property and Casualty. It was one of the first commercial self insurance funds regulated by Florida's Office of Insurance Regulation. In June 1996, the fund was converted and merged into a stock insurance company. The Company is a third party administrator specializing in workers compensation insurance headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida with offices in Sunrise and Clearwater, Florida.
The Company distributes and services policies through a network of contracted independent agents across the state. Since 1920, AIIC's parent company, Associated Industries of Florida has been representing the interest of business people whose members reside from every corner of the state and every segment of the private sector.
